The Watara Supervision — Budget Game Boy Challenger
The Watara Supervision, released in 1992 at a price significantly below Nintendo’s Game Boy, was a Hong Kong-manufactured handheld that attempted to compete in the budget segment of the handheld market. Using a 65C02-compatible processor and a 160×160 pixel LCD display, the Supervision offered basic gaming at an accessible price.
