The APF TV Fun Model 444 — Early Home Gaming

The APF TV Fun Model 444 was an early dedicated television game from APF Electronics — one of the Pong-derivative consoles produced in the mid-to-late 1970s during the first wave of home gaming. APF Electronics was a notable American consumer electronics company that produced several gaming products, eventually releasing the APF Imagination Machine — a combined game console and home computer that anticipated the hybrid computer-console concept. The TV Fun series used dedicated game chip technology for simple ball-and-paddle entertainment, representing home gaming at its very beginning.
