The Nintendo Game Boy Micro — The Smallest Game Boy

The Nintendo Game Boy Micro, released in September 2005, was the final variant of the Game Boy Advance — an extraordinarily miniaturised device measuring just 101 × 50 × 17.2mm and weighing 80 grams, with a brilliant 2-inch backlit LCD screen that produced the finest image quality of any Game Boy. The Micro played all GBA games but sacrificed Game Boy and Game Boy Color backwards compatibility. Its interchangeable faceplates and premium aesthetic made it a fashion accessory as much as a game console, and its small production run — overtaken commercially by the Nintendo DS — makes it among the more collectible Nintendo handhelds today.
