The Philips CD-i 470 — Late-Era CD-i Player
The Philips CD-i 470 was one of the later consumer CD-i models — produced as the platform was approaching the end of its commercial life in the mid-to-late 1990s. By the time of the 470’s production, the CD-i platform had largely failed in its gaming ambitions but maintained a presence in educational and presentation markets where its interactive multimedia capabilities remained valued.
