The Radiola Jet 25 — French Videopac Variant
The Radiola Jet 25 was a French-market variant of the Philips Videopac G7000 — sold under the Radiola brand, which was Philips’ French consumer electronics brand used for the French domestic market. Like other European Videopac variants (sold as Magnavox Odyssey² in North America, Philips Videopac in most of Europe, Schneider in Germany), the Radiola Jet 25 was fully compatible with the Videopac cartridge library. French-branded Videopac variants are today among the rarer regional editions of the platform, representing the diverse distribution landscape of European consumer electronics in the early 1980s when major manufacturers routinely sold identical hardware under different brand names in different national markets.
