The Sony PSP Slim & Lite — The Refined PSP

The Sony PSP Slim & Lite (PSP-2004), released in September 2007, was a significantly redesigned PSP — 33% lighter and 19% thinner than the original, with doubled RAM (64MB), improved battery life, a TV output connector, and a brighter LCD screen. The Piano Black finish gave it a premium aesthetic, and the weight and size reductions made it considerably more comfortable to carry and hold for extended gaming sessions. The Slim & Lite addressed the original PSP’s main criticisms while maintaining full software compatibility with the entire PSP library, and it became the most popular PSP hardware revision.
