The Telegames Personal Arcade (also known as the Dina in some markets) was a remarkable multi-compatible console — playing both ColecoVision cartridges and Sega SG-1000 cartridges in a single device. Produced by Bit Corporation of Taiwan and distributed by Telegames in the USA, the Dina offered compatibility with two distinct cartridge libraries through hardware that could accept both formats, providing exceptional software variety for a budget-priced console. The ability to play both ColecoVision’s celebrated arcade conversions and Sega’s SG-1000 library made the Dina considerably more versatile than either system it emulated, and it is today a prized collector’s piece representing the creative multi-compatibility hardware solutions that emerged in the mid-1980s budget console market.
